Dr. Hernan Bucheli comes to ELS consulting with more than 25 years of higher education experience holding a variety of executive leadership roles as Provost, Senior Vice President, Vice Chancellor, Vice President and interim executive roles in Strategic Enrollment Management, Academic Affairs, Advancement, Student Affairs, Student Success, Higher Education Strategic Planning.

He has a proven track record of achieving impressive results in higher education administrative leadership, organizational development, strategic enrollment management, new academic program development, government relations, community relations, raising the level of student centeredness, new business and partnership development, philanthropy and building institutional brand awareness grounded in inclusive excellence and serving diverse student populations.

Dr. Bucheli earned his Doctorate in education with a concentration in communications and organizational leadership, from Northeastern University, earned a certificate in organizational analysis from Stanford University, completed his master’s in communication from Barry University and earned his baccalaureate degree in international relations from San Francisco State University. Additionally, Dr. Bucheli has served on several non-profit boards focused on college access and improving graduation rates.
